Chase Making Statements
I guess Chase Budinger really wants to play in the NBA. After starting the past two games and performing well, he began yesterday’s game on the bench and responded favorable to say the least. In 26 minutes, Chase led all scorers with 25 points on 7-9 shooting (3-3 from deep) and led his team to [...]

Summer League Update
Going back to Sunday, Chase Budinger made his first summer league start and kept up his strong play with a solid 11 points on 5-9 shooting, helping the Rockets to a 3-0 record. Also in action was Salim Stoudamire who played very minimal minutes and ended with only 2 points on 4 shots.
On Monday there [...]

RauRaur’s NBA Coverage
Embedded video from <a href=”http://www.nba.com/video” mce_href=”http://www.nba.com/video”>NBA Video</a>
Though the NBA season only recently came to an end after the longest playoffs in sports, there is still plenty of Wildcat NBA news to go around.
Yesterday marked the first day of the Vegas NBA Summer League and it was a great start for Chase Budinger. Coming off the [...]

Hey, They’re Not Half Bad!
Nope, they’re all bad (except, obviously, USC).
Tough weekend for the Pac 10. Tough weekend for Arizona. I blame Mustafa Shakur.

The Others
All of the talk out of Las Vegas was all about Jerryd Bayless’ stunning performance. But we are here to tell you also about the other Wildcats working on making a NBA team or getting the attention of European teams (which is now stealing players from the NBA, including Loren Woods!)
Marcus Williams (Signed w/ [...]

Curse of the ‘Staf
When Mustafa Shakur arrived to Tucson in 2004, there was so much talk about how the Messiah has arrived. After four sub par years, and a horrible meltdown against Illinois in 2005, Arizona has never been the same. And things are only getting worse. Brandon Jennings (The Real Messiah) is struggling with [...]

Optimism
Well Negedu is officially gone from the University of Arizona, but all is not bad. We lost Emmanuel but have picked up a commitment from Kyle Fogg, a 3-Star from Brea, California. We lost a five star and picked up a three star, which sounds bad, but when you think of recent history, [...]

Zeroed In
We were worried when Jerryd Bayless chose to wear the number zero. It’s hard enough to live up to the hype generated by Point Guard U (cough… cough… Mustafa Shakur cough…). Why add an Agent Zero comparison to the expectations? Well, nine games into his career, it seems Jerryd has earned that 0.
Sure, it’s [...]
